I don’t know how we got to the topic, but my co-workers and I started talking about the spiritual attacks they’ve endure (and are still enduring) during the 1st year they got employed in this ministry. It’s pretty encouraging to know that I’m not alone. They warned me when I first flew down to Oklahoma for the team building event that spiritual attacks are going to heat up so I kinda braced myself for that. What I didn’t expect was that it was going to be an onslaught.

Confused Much?
I’m going through the book of 1 Corinthians for my daily bible reading. The chapter for the day is verse 14 and while the verse mainly talks about spiritual gifts like speaking in tongues and prophesying (both of which I don’t have lol), verse 33 hit me in the face:
for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
On Being Single
My mornings consist of waking up on my couch (because my bedroom furniture is still on its way) and starting my day with my quiet time. People who know me know I’m not really a morning person. Well, in fact, not at all. But it’s not hard to wake up when I have this scene greeting me.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:17
After many grueling months, I finally finished the book of Jeremiah. I feel like I just left the battlefield. For me, it was exhausting but definitely worth it. As I was looking for the next book I’m going to study, EIKON, the young adult ministry from Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, started on the first book of Corinthians. In an ode to them and what they’ve done for me, I decided to follow suit and thank God I did. I could already feel this is going to be one heck of a study.. in a good way.
