As you may have noticed, I’ve been slow changing the layout of this blog for the last few days. I was hoping to finish everything before the start of September but I was tying a lot of loose ends before I leave. That includes 2 failed attempts to change my Florida driver’s license to an Oklahoman one. A sign, perhaps? Hmmm…
But this is not a rant post. Au contraire, it’s a thanksgiving one. As I venture on to a new chapter in my life, I’d like to thank LifeChurch and the amazing Church Online team. The past few months had been quite an adventure. I have never been stretched physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.. in a good way, of course. It was an honor serving in the trenches alongside some of the most brilliant people in the ministry. If you haven’t attended Church Online, try catching one of the experiences this week – http://live.lifechurch.tv. It’s a very fitting end to the 5-week marriage series “From This Day Forward”.
Also, thanks to the loyal readers of this blog. It may just be figures on the WordPress stats for some, but I know there’s a person behind every number. Thanks for being interested enough to check my lil’ corner out. I know I haven’t been updating as much as I’d like to but that’s going to change. Thanks for giving me a platform to write my thoughts and learnings and know that I don’t take these things for granted.
So what’s next? Well, I’m taking it one step at a time – starting with this blog. I’ve always had different blogs for different things. Seeing that I couldn’t keep up with everything, I’ve decided to consolidate my travel blog and personal blogs to this one. So for now, enjoy the new look. It’s a new chapter and the rest is still unwritten.
Okay, that was cheesy. I’ll do better next time. Happy Labor Day!
