Hello from OKC

Sorry, didn’t mean to go into hibernation there for a second. I’m actually in Oklahoma City right now for a team building at my new job and to go apartment hunting. It’s been a hectic past couple of days. As one of my team members puts it, it’s “gonna feel like drinking from a firehose”. Yeah and I’m a sponge.

So I accepted a job in Oklahoma City (well Edmond to be exact) at LifeChurch.tv. Yep I’m the new Church Online Digital Evangelist.. which is a fancy way of saying I’m the person who would get people to ChurchOnline by any means short of sin. I flew in last Monday in time for the Digerati Team Building event. I’ve never been in a company (be it corporate or ministry) of so many intelligent people. Got to know more about LifeChurch and the members of the team. I’m still processing all the information we discussed the past few days and it gets me pumped to start. On our third day, we got to see Craig Groeschel record live. It’s nice to see what goes on behind the scenes. I’m a dork like that.. I like to know how things work in the background. It also feels surreal to be here. Up until last year, church communication was just something I had a passion to do. I was reading my past entries and laughing at how limited my dreams were. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’ll be here in this place and time, doing what I believe I’m meant to do in a much bigger platform. But that’s how our God works ladies and gentlemen..
